Transport
Air Conditioning Division
Adept
Air Conditioning is a medium sized company based centrally to the
Sydney business district. Since 1997 we have been overhauling air conditioning
units for the Sydney rail network has been a major part of the business.
The overhauling is carried out under strict specifications detailed
by the State Rail Authority and Maintrain engineers. All work is
documented and all staff are specially trained to ensure the highest
possible quality.
Between
1996 and 2000, Adept Air Conditioning carried out gas conversion
from R-12 to R-134a on those units required- approximately 1500
in total.
Currently,
Adept Air Conditioning is upgrading Tangara air conditioning units.
This is a program designed to improve the reliability of the air
conditioning unit in general. It targets the removal of refrigeration
service points, and replacement of electrical contractors and relays
with new. It is expected that the upgrade work will also extend
the life of the Tangara air conditioning unit by 8 to 10 years.
