Adept Air Conditioning is committed to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and will provide and maintain a safe working environment including safe systems of work for all its employees, visitors and contractors at its company premises. The company regards compliance with all legislative requirements as the minimum standard.

The achievement of a healthy,injury free work environment represents one of Adept's key objectives. Safety if an integral part of everything we do and an essential requirement for the continued success and growth of our business.

The company will make every reasonable effort to ensure continuous improvement in the areas of :

• Accident prevention
• Safer work processes
• Hazard identification and risk assessment
• Implementation of methods to control of remove hazards.

Occupational Health and Safety is the shared responsibility of all employees. Specifically these responsibilities include:

Managers / Supervisors

• The preparation, administration, implementation and review of the OH&S Program
• Regular review of the company's OH&S Policy and Procedures
• Effective actions that provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, visitors and contractors.

Employees

• Co-operation with the requirements of the OH&S Program and Procedures
• Identification and reporting of unsafe practices and conditions
• Suggestions for improvements in health and safety.

The General Manager is accountable for these commitments. Managers/Supervisors are responsible for their implementation and all employees are responsible for compliance.
